Outdoor Living

     Living in the city is very luxurious compared to living outdoors. You have electricity, running water, and gas.The living style is accomodated and easier than living outdoors. In the outdoors there is no electricity you have to fight to survive everyday. There aren't any restrooms as well so you have to do your buisness in the bushes. To keep warm you have to kill animals for their fur. It can be said that outdoor living is very difficult, but you grow fond of it. You connect with nature everyday and enjoy the breeze. You have to search for food because you don't have money or stores anywhere. It is interesting to live outdoors because of the lifestyle. You can be in danger, but you enjoy the adrenaline rush that you feel. Also you need to make your own tools for hunting. For fun you can carve a tree but most of the time you don't have time as your distracted searching for food. Sometimes it can be easier to farm. To sleep you have to be on the floor. At first is quite uncomfortable, but you get used to it. That life style is very energy absorbing and time wasting. There isn't schools in the wild so many have to learn since their early age on how to survive. You can become very strong after a time of living this way. You learn a lot about the outdoors though and wouldn't want to live indoors because your used to a different life style.

Prompt #8

            Television has been an issue of debate since its invention. Many people feel television is an unnecessary distraction in our lives. I believe TV is a good source to learn about the outside world, but I think we should watch it once in a while. People sometimes exaggerate the hours that they spend on a couch watching TV. There are other things that can be done apart from the television. Our body gets lazier the more time we spend watching television. We need to get more exercise and focus on other productive activities.

            Television wastes our time keeping us from doing helpful activities. If we don’t control the time we spend on television, then that can bring us severe health problems. TV can make us blind and even obese. Our body needs exercise or else we start gaining weight. That isn’t the worst part, as with more pounds you get the more probability you have of getting diabetes or any other disease. We need to get outdoors more and get fresh air. Later you are obese and are incapable of getting a date. When you grow up you become lonely and usually have a low self esteem. This can even lead to suicide in some cases. The best way to keep away from this problem is to reduce the TV watching hours.

            Also TV usually misleads information. Some news are very bias and don’t announce the complete and objective of a news. They just show and say what they want you to see and hear. Many times television can be dangerous as this can brainwash you into thinking something

they are making you think. Many things on TV are exaggerated and dramatized. It is best to stay away from it. Especially elections they try to implement a candidate so you can vote for him. It is better to get sources online or on the newspaper.

            Television isn’t the best thing to do for a distraction. It is better to be outdoors or doing something productive. Many times TV helps you procrastinate which is not a good thing. Also in the last decades or so there has been an obesity increase because many humans don’t get the exercise they are supposing to do. It is more convenient for your health to stay away from watching TV a lot.

Visiting the Moon

A trip to the moon would be an awesome thing to do. The moon is visible to the eye, but is farther away than its visibility. Many man have dreamed to walk on the moon. Reaching the moon would be an extraordinary task. I would want to reach so I would know how it feels like to be in gravity. Also because I would be distinguished as one of the few humans who has actually been and touched the moon. I would have seen it by myself and be able to tell other people about it.

Earning Money

Teenagers often complaint about not having money. They go into a stage where they want everything and most of the time their parents can not afford it. To earn money kids should earn it. Doing chores around the house and the backyard and then charging their parents is a brilliant idea. Also mowing the neighbors lawn or walking a friend's dog can be done to earn money for things we want. Washing a persons car is another idea to consider to gain some money we need.

"The Baby Dragon"

Once upon a time there was a baby pink dragon. Her name was Rose. She was the baby dragon of two evil dragons. Rose was very beautiful and was very warm hearted all the time. Her parents tried to teach her their evil ways, but she couldn't use her powers for evil. She was unable to kill a fly. She was very skilled and the best dragon at everything. She would often get bullied at school for being so kind. Rose would always ignore the comments and would never use violence. Rose wouldn't get angry for any reason as well. Her parents were really worried for her as dragons are suppose to be naturally evil. Rose was a really unique dragon she was meant to be a succesful dragon when she grew up. As time passed she gained the position of ruler of Dragonland. She was a magnificent and incorruptible leader. She protected her lands very well and as a tribute to her wonderful leadership, a statue was made in her tribute. Rose marked a change for the history of Dragonland.

Summer

My favorite season is Summer. Fall, Spring, and Winter are, okay but they can not be compared to Summer. In`Summer, I enjoy being outdoors, wearing sunglasses, and playing sports are things that can be done possible during Summer. I like feeling the heat of the beautiful sun on my skin. In other seasons you can't have as much excitement as in Summer. Also you can vacinate during Summer as school goes out. Going to the beach and getting into the water or enjoying a cold pina colada are other things I can do in Summer.

Cloning

Since the beginning of age there have been many arguments between religious people and atheist. A topic that relates to this is cloning. Debate has been going on for the last decade whether or not cloning should be banned and illegal. I feel cloning is not adequate for society. I incline my position to banning cloning. Science sometimes goes against the inscribed human laws.

           Science and religion does not go in hand. Science always goes against the mandated religious. God is the only one that can create humans. I don’t think it is right for a human to create another human. Also I think it is unethical. Many clones are formed so they can use their organs for humans. After they have donated their organs, the clones are useless. It is not fair to bring something to life and use it just to recycle body parts. I think if clones are like human than they have human like feelings. God created us, humans, for a reason. If he chooses to end our life then we shouldn’t hold on to living any longer.

           Cloning is also wrong because they experiment on animals. To clone they have to run a variety of tests which can be painful. The tests can be harmful and hurt some innocent animals. After the cloning process animals don’t go back to their normal lives. Using clones for our convenience is really selfish. To find cures for some diseases we should look for other different types of methods. Animals should not be in experiment rooms, they should be out roaming the wilderness.

           If cloning was legal then where would they belong?  They would be discriminated in society. Human beings would not want to have a clone as a neighbor as they consider them healthy and a mistake from nature. I ask then where would clones go? That would be a problem because I doubt anyone on Earth would want them close. Also they would increase the population, decrease the food rations, and the water supply. They would also interrupt the normal life cycle. Other questions to ask would be how long will they be able to survive on our world and would they be able to reproduce? Cloning isn’t the only problem that comes with this process, but there are other issues that can be involved in here. The best thing to do would be to ban the creation of clones. With the banning of clothing we will be able to maintain our same life styles. Human beings shouldn’t interfere in things we belong.

           Cloning can negatively change the human civilization as we know it. We are already considered to be a violent and selfish civilization. Instead of using these methods to survive longer, we should just all face our own destined death. We all reach that stage and have to live through it. Humans need to die to gain peace that this world rarely offers. Cloning goes against our society, morality, and even our dignity.

Family Feud

Family Feud is a show where five members of a family compete against another family. Whoever comes out victorious wins the money the show offers. If I was on the show that would be a memorable experience. I would compete along side my mom, dad, older sister, and uncle. When the show starts we would be answering all the questions. We would be the more knowledgeable family and on the road to victory. Just suddenly thunder would hit the light pole and the lights of the show would go off. Following this would be both families getting dismissed from the set. They would offer both families complimentary prizes and sent us on our way home. We would be angry having almost won, but happy we had fun.

My Home

A home is not only a place to sleep in. A home is where you feel warm and comfortable. My home is the best place to be in. There are many virtues my home has. To start off it is very spacious. I have my own room where I am often in when I need private time. There I can think and straighten out my ideas. This is the only place I can actually be alone and distant from any other world and just be on my world. Also here I come together with my family. I get to spend time with them and discuss about how the rest of the day went. Being at home warms my heart.

Being a Quarterback

Football isn't my favorite sport, but if I was at a football stadium I would be the quarterback. Quarterbacks are essential to a football team so I would have a lot of pressure. My throwing a football skills aren't all that great, but I have very good aim. While I would be in the field I would complete many passes. I would inspire my teammates to win the game as well. Also I would try to run some plays on my own and score touchdowns. Quarterbacks win good money as well so I would enjoy being a quarterback.

When I was 12 Years Old

Four years ago I was 12 years old and in the seventh grade. I was a very tiny boy and still had braces. Before I didn;t have as much freedom as I do now. I couldn't walk home alone or go out with my friends anywhere. At that time I was very shy I would never speak. My self esteem wasn't that high. Now that I have grown I have lost some of that shyness. Also since I was very short I couldn't reach many places. Those are some things I can do now, and that I couldn't do back then.

Monkey as a Pet

Some animals can make a difference in people's lives. For example dogs can be a guide to blind people and cats can be the only friend of a grown lonely woman. That makes these animals good pets, on the other hand monkeys don't fulfill any standard. They are dirty, hairy, snd stinky. Monkeys wouldn't make good pets. They would give our lives more difficult making our homes dirtier. Also they would eat all the bananas. Another thing is all they say is uuu-aaa. To shower a monkey would take time and a lot of shampoo. Monkeys shoouldn't be made pets.

Tiaret

The youngest person I know is my little cute cousin. Her name is Tiaret, she is six months old. She is soooooo cute and of course small. She is like any normal baby she just cries, sleeps, and eats all day. She has very beautiful eyes and puffy cheeks. I like to grab her cheeks a lot because they are big. She tries to talk already, but still just screams. She is the cutest baby ever. Tiaret is not only the youngest person I know, but also the youngest of the family so everyone spoils her with presents.

My Grandpa

I dont know many old people as I only know two that pass the age of sixty. My grandpa, my dad's dad, is the oldest person I know. He is sixty- seven years old. He is very hard working because at his age he works in a difficult job maintaining apartments. On his days off he works around the house and rarely see him watch tv or relax. He argues with my grandma a lot for just about everything. I laugh all the time because it is funny how they argue over nothing worth arguing for. Even though they fight constantly they wouldn't be able to live seperated. I'm impressed and surprised at how my grandpa still has a good sense of humor at his age. Many old people I see are grumpy. My grandpa is very funny and has the mind of a child. He plays around too much and finds ways to prank us. Also he likes to gamble at casinos and with the family. We usually play cards at family reunions, but my grandpa cheats. One of his favorite hobbies is to play scratchers. He also likes soccer. He goes for the opposing team I go for so we make fun of each other.

Painting my Room

Since my birth I was never an artist. If I knew how to paint I would draw a soccer field on one side of the wall. I would use the colors green, blue, and yellow. Green would be needed to paint the grass, blue for the sky, and yellow for the sun. On the top sky I would paint the sky with many stars. The stars would light and be very bright. This would be cool because I enjoy watching the night for a long time and now I would have a simulation in my room. On the other wall I would paint a cartoon portrait of all my loving family, some worthy friends, and me. This would be a symbol of my love to all the important people in my life. I would paint all of this in my wall if my parents would give me the permission and if I knew how to paint.

"The Bat Who Couldn't Fly"

Bats can naturally fly. What happens when a bat can't fly? Once upon a time there was a bat named Steve who couldn't fly. He lived with his two brothers Tom and Harry and his mom and dad. They lived happily until it was time for Tom, Harry, and Steve to learn to fly. Mom went to work that day so it was dad's task to teach them. Dad took them to a cliff that day. Dad did a quick demonstration and flew up up in the sky. Then it was Tom's turn, he was nervous but with a little push from his dad he flew up high. Next came Harry, he flew high on his first try. At last came Steve, but he was very nervous and his feet were shaking. His dad tried to push him, but Harry wouldn't budge. Steve took a look down and his heart sank. He tried to fly, but couldn't move because he was really stiff. It was time to leave so Steve had to try it again the next day. He couldn't sleep all night because he was so nervous. The next day came and again they went to the cliff. Steve and Harry were name calling him the whole day. This inspired Steve and when he got to the cliff he flew higher than any other bat.

Lunch with Lionel Messi

There are many people I admire in the world. A role model I would love to follow is Lionel Messi. He is an Argentinian soccer superstar. He is a master when it comes to showing his skill on the pitch. I would like to ask Messi how he got so good at soccer. Another question I would ask would be how he overcame all the hinders that were on his way to become this soccer prodigy. We would also talk about how it feels to be in the best soccer club in the world. I would ask him for connections and tips so I can become a great soccer player like him.

Siblings

Family is the most valuable thing a human has. Fortunately I have two sisters. I had a third sister who sadly passed away before I came to this world. I am the middle child and have no brothers. My older sister's name is Yadira. She is a a very smart person, and likes to boss me around. She always likes to have power and the authority. She currently attends Cal State Northridge. Also my sister is the best female soccer player I know. She is extremely talented. My younger sister's name is Nehedin. She is very bratty and never listens to me. We fight frequently as she thinks she knows everything. She is a sixth grader. Nehedin unlike my other sister dislikes soccer. She is more into cheerleading and doing gymnastics. I fight with both of my sisters often, but that is how I show my love for them.

My Dream Pet

If I could have any animal as a pet it would be a talking parrot. Talking parrots are funny and cute. They aren't that dirty as well. I would keep it in a cage so it wouldn't fly around. I would let it out once in a while if it's trained to come back. I would change the water and food often and keep his cage clean. Also I would teach it to say a variety of things so it can prank people. Parrots are worth a lot of money so I would take care of it. I would play with it, but keep it away from my dog or else bye bye birdy. I would take the parrot along with me as well. We would be very good friends. I would be a good owner if I ever owned a parrot

Pirate

I imagine being a pirate. I would be the captain of the ship. We would be looking for gold and exploring new lands. All of a sudden a hurricane destroyed our ship. When I woke up I was stranded alone on an uncharted island. My crew was shipwrecked somewhere else and I was all alone. To survive I searched the enitire island for food. Just then I spotted a gigantic X on the floor. I saw my pirate map and just there the x marked the spot. I started digging and found the biggest treasure ever. I was rich beyond my wildest dream. I thought this was the greatest day of my life. After weeks of searching my crew finally found me. I showed them the treasure, but it was so big we couldn't carry it to our ship. There I had to make a very difficult decision whether stay alone on the island wealthy, or leave the island with my crew. I decided I had everything I wanted so we left the island and went for tacos.

Elderly Drivers

American citizens all have the same rights. We don’t discriminate on race, gender, or age, but sometimes we should make exceptions. All drivers have to get a license before they are legally able to drive. In order to legally drive every year every person should take a test on their vision, reflections, and hearing to renew their license. The years don’t pass in vain and after some time we start losing these attributes.  There can be a law where they prevent elder people from driving, but some elders are still in a well condition and can drive perfectly. Many old people do lose their reflections and often confuse the gas pedal for the breaks a fatal mistake that can cause the deaths of many innocent pedestrians. Others don’t have good eye sight and aren’t able to see signs that are important to locate while driving. To prevent these accidents drastic measures have to be taken. If we pick on the elders we have to remember that we will also get old and once that happens we also won’t be able to drive and get around town. So the best thing to do is to take several tests every year to see that your skills you need to have to drive haven’t diminished. I feel that elder people aren’t the only people that cause accidents so the test that they take should be applied to everyone. There are crazy people out in the streets that shouldn’t be driving that cause accidents as well. The death rates in car accidents have to do more with teens because they are wild and immature. Older people tend to have more precautions while driving and most of them don’t drink and drive. I think this issue of driving can go both ways because sometimes we criticize older people driving but they don’t provoke as much accidents as teens. It is proven that many elders lose their eye sight but they get glasses which helps them out. Reflexes are an important characteristic that old people lose. If they are driving fast and see a civilian crossing they should be fast enough to break.  In a simple second they can commit a mistake that can cost them their freedom. Not only can they go to jail, but they drag other people in this issue. I conclude with proposing the idea of a harder driving test. The DMV shouldn’t allow people with certain types of problems to be driving out there. They put the lives of a lot of people in danger. Having a variety of different tests that will sharpen our abilities to perform better driving would greatly decrease death rates in car accidents.

My Deepest Fear

When you think of scary things what is the first thing that comes to your mind? Maybe monsters, ghosts, zombies? Yes they are scary, but none of these are my deepest fear. I fear many things, but I am mostly scared of growing up and being lonely. My biggest dream is to have a merry family with many children that I can go home to daily. If I don't have that then it becomes my deepest fear. I don't want to grow up without having a loved one by my side. I don't want to reach an old age and be extremely rich with an enormous house, but not have the most important thing which is family. I fear not being able to build a happy family and keeping it stable. I also fear not accomplishing my teenage goal which is to play college soccer. I hope I am good enough to play for a good college. There are always obstacles but I hope I can overcome them. I hope I don't get a serious injury that can mess up any possibility I have playing college soccer.

My New Restaurant

Owning my own buisness is one of my dreams. I would be delighted if I opened a restaurant. I would name it Eder's Enchanted Corner. The restaurant would be pretty big with many televisions. I would televise a lot of sports events. I would have Club America posters everywhere and a big picture of the owner (me) on one of the walls. My family and some friends would work there as I would only hire people I can trust who would be responsible and won't steal from me. We would serve different types of dishes. Tacos, enchiladas, burritos, pozole, and menudo are just some examples of food I would serve. Sushi and seafood would also be served to attract more customers.

Dinosaur

Dinosaurs are a very unique type of animals. They were extinct and lived on Earth before humans did. If i ever saw one in my backyard I would try to poke it with a stick to see what it would do. I would also feed it tacos to see if he likes that type of food. I would also be mad at it because dinosaurs are humongous and it probably destroyed my property.

My Meal for my Family

I would cook my family ham quesadillas. This is mainly because I do not know how to cook anything else. the ingredients are a secret. Ok fine I'll say them; it's a tortilla, ham, and cheese. I have to just put the tortilla in the stove and wait for the cheese to melt on the tortilla.Once the cheese melts that's the signal to insert the ham and there you go a ham quesadilla.

When I was Brave

Being brave is not a charasteristic that many people have. I am not always the bravest person, but I have my moments. One time I can remember is when I changed schools. I didn't know anybody and I am the shy person. Also I didn't know english so it was hard for me to communicate with other people. At the end I made many friends.

A Hundred Dollars

If I had a hundred dollars I can think of many things to do with them.I think I would donate the money to a needy child. I would want them to buy food first of all. Then they should buy themselves clothes or toys that would make me happy.I just hope they don't misuse the money.
